Our Doctors

Dr. Scott R. Miller, DDS

Dr. Miller was the first of his family to graduate college and break the family’s coal mining legacy. His parent’s support and dedication to their family and work encouraged Dr. Miller to follow in their footsteps. He is married to his wife Valerie and has two daughters and a son; Cassidy, Chloe, and Tanner. Dr. Miller is passionate about restoring people’s confidence through their smiles and helping others, including the less fortunate.

Dr. Chris M. Davenport, DDS

Dr. Davenport is a native of Glade Spring, VA, and was happy to return to his roots in Southwest Virginia. He graduated Dental School in 2013 and has been practicing in the Bristol area ever since. He is married to his wife Kelly and has two sons named Ryan and Luke. Dr. Davenport is passionate about dentistry, especially implants and endodontics.

Dr. Laura Settles, DDS

Dr. Settles grew up in Bristol and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from West Virginia University. She has been a long-time volunteer in dental outreach in Appalachia and loves the people and culture of the region. Dr. Settles is married to her husband Shawn and lives in Wytheville with their three beloved pets.

Brenda, Hygienist

Brenda has been a clinical dental hygienist for 32 consecutive years. She has provided our patients with high quality care since March 2010. She loves getting to know her patients and ensuring their comfortability during their visit. When she isn’t work you can find her outdoors with her husband Marty, their horses, and two dogs.

Vanessa, Hygienist

Vanessa has been working in the industry with love and compassion since 2009. She began as a dental assistant and then pursued a career as a dental hygienist. Her meticulous and precise attention to detail has benefited her patients in so many ways. She is married to her husband Cody and has three beautiful children Alexa, Teagan, and Landen.

Grace, Dental Assistant

Grace graduated in 2018 with her certificate in Dental Assisting form Wytheville Community College. Although she may be young, Grace has so much to bring to the table and is always willing to learn something new. She joined the team in August of 2019 and has loved it ever since! You can find her spending time with her boyfriend Trevor and their two pets Garfield and Buck.

Kristin, Office Coordinator

Kristin comes to the Wytheville Office with 10 years of experience. She has worked as a char assistant and an administrative assistant in the dental setting. Her experience from different roles gives her the ability to help our patients with any form of care they need. Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband Brock and their two children Mason and Marley, outdoors any chance they can get!
