COVID-19 Updates
As you know the Coronavirus is the largest concern in the world at the moment. Not only has this virus affected the globe, but also every aspect of human life. The CDC has provided the Unites States very clear guidelines on how to slow down COVID-19 while keeping everyone safe. Wytheville Dental Group is doing our part in flattening the curve, therefore we have a few updates. Here they are below.
Wytheville Dental Group COVID-19 Updates
Our top priority is to ensure the safety of our patients, families, and our staff. In order to do our part, we are closing our office until further notice. We know that emergencies can happen, so do not panic. If you or a family member is experiencing a dental emergency, we will provide you proper care. We will only be offering emergency dental care, until further notice. The ADA has recommended that dentists postpone elective procedures, to eliminate any chance of unnecessary human contact.
Our goal for solely providing emergency care is to help out our other medical care professionals. This will alleviate any dental emergencies that would typically go to the hospital, so emergency rooms are not overwhelmed. If you have any questions or concerns about your health, please do not hesitate to contact the office. While we are all spending time away from one another, here are a few practices to keep your smile healthy and happy.
At-Home Care
One way you can do your part is to take good care of yourself! If you are following proper daily dental routines, you lower your risk for infection significantly. This means the likelihood of you having a dental emergency is low. On top of that, it is important to keep yourself physically healthy as well. Follow the CDC’s guidelines of self-quarantining yourself, washing your hands, avoiding outside human to human contact, and not touching your face. For other ways to protect yourself against COVID-19 check out the Center for Disease Control’s guide here. For any and all dental questions, call our office at (276) 288-2777.
