Our Doctoral Team

Dr. Jeffrey B. Pettit, DDS

Dr. Pettit is originally from North Carolina. He knew from a very young age that he wanted to be a dentist because of the great dental influences in his life. Dr. Pettit attended Forsyth Tech Community college and graduated in 2005 with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He felt he had abandoned his calling of being a dentist, so he went back to school to pursue it full time. Dr. Pettot graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2008 and continued his education at the Indiana School of Dentistry. He graduated in 2012 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Since then, he has worked hard as a dentist and loved every minute of it. When he isn’t at the office, you’ll find him with his wife Stacey and their two dogs Ember and Piper Ann. Dr. Scott R. Miller, DDS

Dr. Miller was the first to graduate on both sides of his family and the first to break his family’s legacy in coal mining. He attended Southwest VA Community College, transferred to VA Tech and graduated in 1987. He worked as a lab technician and was accepted into dental school in 1991. Dr. Miller received his DDS degree with honors and completed his residency in Prosthodontics for VCA/MCV Dental School in 1997. Since then he opened his own practice, married his soul mate Valeria, and spends time with his two beautiful daughters, Cassidy and Chloe, and son Luke. Chris M. Davenport, DDS

Dr. Davenport is a native of Glade Spring, VA. He attended and graduated from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise. Dr. Davenport then completed a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013. He has stayed in the area ever since. Dr. Davenport is a general dentist who loves dentistry. When he isn’t at the office, you can find him with his wife Kelly, and two sons Ryan and Luke.
