Our Doctoral Team
Dr. Pettit, originally hailing from North Carolina, discovered his passion for dentistry at a young age, inspired by influential figures in the dental field. Initially graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Forsyth Tech Community College in 2005, Dr. Pettit realized his true calling and returned to school to pursue dentistry wholeheartedly.
In 2008, he graduated from the University of North Carolina, continuing his educational journey at the Indiana School of Dentistry. Dr. Pettit earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2012. Since then, he has dedicated himself to dentistry, finding immense joy in his work. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Stacey and their two dogs, Ember and Piper Ann. Dr. Miller holds the distinction of being the first in his family to graduate and break the legacy of coal mining. His educational journey began at Southwest VA Community College, where he later transferred to VA Tech, culminating in his graduation in 1987. Following work as a lab technician, he pursued dentistry, gaining acceptance into dental school in 1991.
In 1997, Dr. Miller achieved his DDS degree with honors and completed his residency in Prosthodontics at VCA/MCV Dental School. Subsequently, he established his own practice. Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Miller found love with his soul mate, Valeria, and enjoys quality time with their two daughters, Cassidy and Chloe, and son Luke. As one of the two prosthodontists in the region between Roanoke, VA, and Knoxville, TN, Dr. Miller proudly contributes his expertise to Wytheville Dental Group.
Dr. Davenport, a Glade Spring, VA native, pursued his education at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise and graduated successfully. Following this, he completed a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013. Dedicated to serving the local community, Dr. Davenport has remained in the area since then.
As a general dentist, Dr. Davenport has a passion for dentistry, and his commitment to the field is evident in his work. Beyond the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly and their two sons, Ryan and Luke. Dr. Davenport also finds joy in outdoor activities, including wakeboarding on South Holston Lake and offshore fishing.
